Truth & Dare...

It’s not about truth or dare but it is about truth & dare. Sach ka Saamna, a stage where you have no option between truth & dare. One will have to dare to utter the truth. Well these days the show is under intense discussions & critical arguments. But I’m still confused whether people are against this mature concept, its format, questions, participants or confessions.

The rumblings all around raise a question in my mind that ‘Is Sach Ka Saamna an invasion of privacy?’ May be it is to some extent. But I think invasion of privacy is when secrets are revealed even when a person is reluctant to do so. Here everything is crystal clear before the show. The participant knows the questions as well. So the ball remains in the participant's court. It's upto him whether he wants to play or not.

Though, it actually becomes difficult & sometimes pathetic to disclose such secrets in front of your family & friends, which could be of utter embarrassment for anyone. I know 'Private is Private' but if somebody knowingly discloses that than it's entirely his/her choice.

In any case, I’m very delighted to see Rajeev Khandelwal in his new avatar. I remember how much we (Me & arpi) struggled for his interview. The day was really happening & adventurous. Luv you arpi…You made my day.

‘Sach Ka Saamna’ is an Indian adaptation of the American game show, Moment of Truth. It's getting amazing feedback (More over negative feedback). But at the end negative publicity pays a lot. I find it a more evolved and matured format of reality shows.

Well, I would say all Indian television houses keep airing the Indian adaptation of all the shows which are doing or have done well abroad. When they'll come up with their own format, something really outrageous & exciting...Waiting for that...

Lets see, what comes next, again an adaptation or experimentation...

cheers :)

Smiley..Smiley..everywhere..:) ;) :-/ B-)

‘Hansne ka, rone ka, khaane ka, peene ka, style se rehne ka tension nahin lene ka…’

Smileys.. smileys…all the way..

‘Smile is a curve that sets everything straight & smileys make that smile look great'. Every feeling, every emotion is now a part of the smiley pack. Undeniably, smileys become an indispensable part of the online communication network. From Hi5, facebook, twitter, orkut to instant messengers, all are dancing on the beats of emoticons.

The smiling, winking and frowning yellow round faces with two dots, with an arc to light the way. Isn’t it interesting?? Well, every emoticon stands for something in particular. But we usually derive meaning of our own. For say, “A wink says quite a lot,” It could be to tease a friend, to flirt or..ya or it may be a secret code. You never know, because for an admiral a wink could mean a secret code.

Instant messaging, chatting is flat without these cute yellow faces. I just can’t resist using them while chatting. This adds a tint of excitement. I remember me and Varuna, had long chats, just with the use of smileys. This may sound irritating and it actually irritated us sometime but than can’t stop using them. ;)

I read somewhereThe New York Observer joked that she could “tell the whole story of a relationship in emoticons: Happy, happy, happy, sad, happy, sad, sad. Wow!

Cute Yellow faces are pretty enough to communicate what you can’t say. You can make 'somebody laugh', 'sad', 'avoid' (Am I getting bit rude ;) ), irritate, 'piss off & stop bothering me' & lot more.

In this internet era, we have lot more than emoticons, like avtars, virtual world, but still it is the best way to interact.

Thanks Dr. Fahlman for this revolutionary gift... :)

Wat a Swayamwar!!!

The Big Daddy of all the reality shows ‘Rakhi Ka Swayamwar’ has lived upto it’s expectations. Never heard, never seen concept of Reality show had a record breaking opening. I would say it calls for superb guts to conduct such a private affair on national Television (Well, no comments, It’s Rakhi). I would rather say it an act of bravery, for both rakhi and its audiences. Heyy…hold on..hold on..It doesn’t mean, I’m a great fan of Rakhi, but again I admire her for few things.

The show is wonderfully packaged with saga of romance, heartbreak, rollercoaster of emotions and tribulations. Whatsoever, Rakhi has again managed to garner TRP’s. Though every aspect of it is funny & some may say cheap but does have entertainment value.

Before the show started, there were rumblings ‘Who’ll marry Rakhi?’ But now it’s ‘Who will Rakhi marry??’ The ball is now in Rakhi’s court.

It’s really one of the most hilarious television shows I’ve ever seen. There are many who really make it a point not to miss it. Rakhi’s melodrama is well known. People find her ‘irritating’, ‘Queen of Drama’, ‘unbearable’ but they manage to seek a chance to watch it.

With a lavish set in Udaipur's most prestigious palace, a bridal ensemble designed by Neeta Lulla, and a bunch of the world's best grooms (samples) thrown in for total timepass…

Heavy dose of make up on her face restricts her from smiling. She blushes as if somebody has forced her to behave decently. Lolz!! There’s lot to say and lot to write.

Well, Rakhi’s quest to find her perfect mate will end up in a few days. The finale of this unique show is the most anticipated event of the year, with just one question on everyone's lips...will she, won't she, who will it be? Because you never know what will happen. At the end she may say ‘All are useless’, after all it’s Rakhi’s show yaar!!

Ye Kaisi Judaai...

Ek Patta,
Abhi-Abhi toota tha,
Na jaane kisse wo rootha tha...
Janana chaha tha mene bahut kuch,
Par samajh na paayi, zehan mein uske kya tha!!

Pehle rootha tha bas ek,
dekhte hi dekhte bikhar gaye anek,
Na koi ilm thi, na jaanti thi kaaran unki maayusi ka,
Par sochti thi...aisa bhi kabhi hota hai,
bhala koi apno se judaa hota hai??

Ajeeb Maayusi, ek ajeeb udaasi thi wahaan,
Sukhe patton ko udaati thi hawaa..
Sarsarahat karte hue tez hawaa ke zaunke,
patton ko ped se alag karte jaate,
Gussa tha hawaa ka ya thi patzad ki shuruwaat,
jo le jaati hazaaron patte apne saath.!!!

Janana chaha tha mene bahut kuch,
samjhane lagi thi shaayad mein ab kuch,
Behti hawaa ke zaunke, bayaan karte jaate sachchaii..
Unhi ke kaaran sehni padi thi, ped aur patton ko ye judaaii...

Par Vaastav mein kise doshi maane aur kise maane nirdosh,
ye to prakriti ka khela hai,
jisne hawaon ke rukh ko moda hai.
Baanta hai baras ko mausam mein chaar,
Patjhad, Saawan, Basant, Bahar...

Patjhad ke kaaran jo judaai hoti hai,
Saawan ki pehli boondein un gamon ko dhoti hai,
Chuu....kar jaati hai, us maayusi ko.

Haule se kehti hai kaan mein pedon ko,
Udaasi tumhaari khatakti hai sabhi ko,
Muskurake khila do phir se zameen ko,
Saawan mein ram jaao, geet gaao saawan ka..
Aaage bhi to karna hai tumhe swaagat basant ka...
